Students to Compete in McGuire Pitch Contest

On Friday, April 29, four SIE students on McGuire Entrepreneurship Program startup teams will present innovation in action – and vie for more than $50,000 in prizes – at the New Venture Competition and Showcase.

Come to the Berger Auditorium at McClelland Hall between 10 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. to cheer on:

• Edward Enhelder, graduate student in systems engineering, on team Car-fly – an on-demand restaurant delivery service
• Eric Espinosa, engineering management major, on team BeneBundle – a website selling certified eco-friendly apparel
• Nick Hinsberg, engineering management major, on team Coverd – providing on-site camping equipment rental for music festivals
• Clayton Jeanette, systems engineering major, on team Defiiant Technologies – featuring a mobile virtual reality app and wearable VR camera
